Running was my life-changing event. The best decision I've made that I have not yet regret. When I started, I ran 9 minutes per km. Everybody ran pass me. Determined to improve, I looked for some aids. I got an iPhone. There were so many software I could use to track my progress. But first I need to somehow carry an iPhone with me.
After days of research, I picked up this Belkin Sport Armband for iPhone from eBay. It fits both 3G and 3GS. This soft, thin neoprene case fits my iPhone snugly. The elastic velcro band provides flexible range of adjustability. The front plastic cover does provide some level of water resistance. However, due to the top cut for inserting an iPhone, anything more than a drizzle is not ideal.
The wide, soft elastic armband secures the iPhone firmly to my arm - not too loose and not too tight. It was surprisingly comfortable. The strap itself has very fine teeth, I have never seen such fine teeth on any velcro strap before. It's fine teeth strap allows the armband to be unstrap and readjusted quickly.
The only thing I don't like about it was that after a run, the armband can be a little damp (from sweat, drizzle, etc) and it became very tight to remove the iPhone from the case.
It has been over 2 months and I still use it every time I run. I guess this armband will stick with me for a while.
